Description
Performs the full range of professional duties required to support various types of communication programs in order to create and maintain favorable public relations for the school division, both internally and for the community at large.
Qualifications
Required
- Any combination of education and experience equivalent to a bachelor's degree.

One (1) year of experience in community engagement and marketing, some of which shall have been in working with cross-functional teams.
- Advanced degree(s) beyond the minimum degree requirement in a relevant field may be considered for some experience.
- Effective organizational skills.
- Proficiency in the use of technology including business office, web content and video editing software programs.
- Ability to work independently and in teams to meet deadlines.
- Ability to respond appropriately and in a timely manner by following the correct process.
- Ability to exercise tact, judgment, and initiative.
- Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, within all organizational levels.
Preferred
- Bachelor's degree in journalism or marketing.
- Event coordination and logistics experience.
