Key Responsibilities
The Senior Retirement Communications Specialist will be responsible for managing a team and program that provides a full range of marketing and communications services aimed at meeting Fairfax County Public Schools goals and objectives. They will develop and deliver cross-channel communications content to provide outreach programs and inform stakeholders. Additionally, they will provide project management for the combination of education and experience equivalent to a bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or five years of progressively more responsible experience related to publishing, reporting, editing, web-based services, marketing, and/or big data analysis.
Required Skills and Qualifications
The successful candidate will have knowledge of current theory, practices, materials, and methods used in technology and data compilation, manipulation, and analysis. They will also be able to develop and maintain effective working relationships with all levels of employees and communicate effectively, both orally and in writing. A master's degree in marketing, communications, business administration, data science, digital marketing, or a related field is preferred, along with experience related to digital marketing.
