What are the responsibilities and job description for the Clinical Assistant/Medical Scribe - Vascular Center position at Fairfax Radiology Centers, LLC?
This is a full-time, benefitted position located at our Fairfax Vascular Center in Fairfax, Virginia. The hours are Monday – Friday 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM.

As a Clinical Assistant/Medical Scribe, you play a vital role in supporting patient care by assisting our healthcare team with accurately documenting medical records. Your attention to detail and precision are essential in ensuring we deliver top-tier service to our patients. This position is ideal for someone who remains composed under pressure, provides exceptional customer service, stays highly organized, and thrives in a fast-paced medical office setting.
What you’ll do:
- Include but not limited to gathering information for patient visits and partnering with physicians to deliver effective patient care.
- Transcribing patient appointments that will document accurate and detailed information of patient visits; referrals to medical specialists; providing patient evaluation data to healthcare professionals.
- Escorting patients to exam rooms, maintaining a clean working environment and ensuring an efficient and positive experience for our patients.
What you’ll bring:
- Excellent computer skills and prior medical office or health-related office experience.
- College degree preferred
- Must have experience with medical terminology.
- Must be highly detail oriented and excellent in documentation.
- Must have prior experience following up with multiple health care clinicians and have outstanding interpersonal skills to work well with team members.
- Prior experience as a Medical Scribe is a bonus!
