What are the responsibilities and job description for the SUMMER INTERN - Quality Assurance Aide position at Fairfax Water?
Under the supervision of the Quality Assurance Supervisor, the Student Intern will assist the Customer Service Support team with customer service-related documentation, including cheat sheets, training documents, and procedure manuals. The Student Intern will also be responsible for assisting with unskilled manual tasks and various other duties as assigned, receiving practical guidance on the inner workings of the Customer Service department.
- Assist in reviewing and assessing existing customer service documentation to identify gaps, inconsistencies, and areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with team members to enhance the clarity, accessibility, and usability of documentation.
- Participate in the implementation of a robust review and approval process for all materials, ensuring accuracy and compliance with project requirements.
- Assist with tracking project progress, updating project documentation, and communicating updates to stakeholders.
- Perform administrative tasks such as document processing and data clean up.
- Assist with on-going team projects.
- Perform other duties as assigned or required.
- Graduation from High School and a minimum of 1- 3 years of work experience in Customer Service.
- Enrolled as a full-time student at a college, university, or trade school for the upcoming fall to qualify for the program.
- Ability to communicate clearly and professionally, both verbally and in writing.
- Ability to perform accurate basic mathematical computations.
- Knowledge of Microsoft 365.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
- Possess a valid driver's license in good standing.
- Pass a background investigation and pre-employment drug screening.
- Specific safety requirements.
- Position Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm
