Position Title: Night Auditor
Shift: 11pm-7am
Accountable To: Front Office Manager, General Manager
Night auditors are responsible for maintaining operations and guest services outside of normal business hours, and are often the first point of contact for late-night guests. They play a crucial role in ensuring that guests have a safe and pleasant experience.
Night auditors are responsible for verifying that all revenue and expenses were claimed, preparing reports for the next day's work, including reconciling accounts at a high level of detail. Night Auditors also check room rates to ensure accuracy before switching over to the next day.
Essential Functions of Position:
- Greet and welcome guests upon arrival
- Register guests into the computer, verifying proper identification, reservation, address, and credit information
- Promote the Marriott Bonvoy program and provide recognition and benefits to all current members
- Be friendly, thorough, accurate and efficient in check-ins, check-outs and taking reservations
- Promptly respond to and resolve guest complaints
- Be knowledgeable and helpful about the local area, the hotel and hotel services
- Reconcile and complete all daily front desk agents’ work
- Run find trial balance to post rooms and close day
- Verify all revenue reports, room rates etc. are accurate
- Provide next day reports for the Front Office
- Adhere to applicable Company Standard Operating Procedures
- Must be able to speak, read, write and understand english.
- Must be able to read and write to facilitate the communication process.
- Requires good communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Must possess basic computational ability.
- Must possess basic computer skills.
- Extensive knowledge of the hotel, its services and facilities; General knowledge of the city where hotel is located and its attractions.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour
