Overview:
The Operations Administrator at Plant 2 provides organizational & analytical support towards the completion of production, order fulfillment, and communication processes throughout the organization. This role is essential in developing & monitoring reports, tracking quality issues, maintaining schedule integrity, and ensuring smooth information flow among internal teams. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly organized, and extremely proficient in all Microsoft Office applications.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Run and monitor daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports to support order completion, shipments, and various tracking metrics.
- Provide administrative support to Directors, Managers, and Production Supervisors, including preparing documents, reports, and presentations.
- Act as the note taker for production-related meetings, documenting action items and follow-up steps to ensure accountability and execution.
- Track and document quality issues occurring on the production floor, collaborating with quality and production teams to follow up on resolution.
- Partner with the expediting and scheduling teams to help maintain production schedule integrity and meet customer ship dates.
- Assist in distributing and communicating important business information to internal stakeholders including production, quality, shipping, and management teams.
- Maintain up-to-date documentation and logs related to production tracking, labor performance, and scheduling exceptions.
- Support continuous improvement efforts by providing data analysis and administrative support for process enhancements.
Qualifications:
- 5 years of administrative experience in a manufacturing environment (associate/bachelor’s degree preferred)
- Strong organizational, verbal and written communication skills
- Familiarity of AS400 computer software
- Ability to work independently or collaboratively in a team environment
- Familiarity and proficiency in most Microsoft applications: word, excel, PowerPoint, email, etc.
