What are the responsibilities and job description for the Benton Special Education Paternity Leave Teacher position at Fairfield Fire Department (Iowa)?
REPORTS TO : The Principal and / or the Principal's designee
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT : Approximately 4 / 18 / 2025-5 / 9 / 2025 (Subject to change based on need and school calendar)
QUALIFICATIONS :
1. Certified Teacher (preferered)
2. Emergency Teaching License Required if Non-Certified
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS :
1. Participate in curriculum review and design.
2. Implement a variety of effective instructional strategies consistent with lesson objectives.
3. Evaluate student abilities and provide progress reports as required.
4. Create a classroom environment that is conducive to learning.
5. Effectively implement district and building initiatives.
6. Effectively collaborate with grade-level / team teachers and other colleagues.
7. Abide by state statutes, school board policies and regulations.
8. Take necessary precautions to protect students, equipment / materials, and facilities.
9. Remain current on instructional practices in education.
10. All other duties as assigned by the Principal or their designee.
