Travel within a 2-3 hour radius of our portfolio footprint is required.**

WHO YOU ARE
You are a crucial part of the Property Management team, an experienced Leasing Specialist with at least two (2) years of experience in a customer-facing role within the affordable housing industry (Housing & Urban Development [HUD], Rural Development [RD] and/or Low-Income Housing Tax Credit [LIHTC]). By delivering exceptional customer service, effectively nurturing leads and utilizing strong organizational skills, you will be responsible for successfully renting apartments and contributing to a positive resident experience. Overall, you will be responsible for managing leases, ensuring affordable housing compliance and working with various agencies. When you're not assigned to an active lease-up, you will act as a floating Community Manager, so you're passionate about traveling to different communities and being on the open road!

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

  • Lead and monitor leasing activities, including showings, lead generation, application processing, move-in coordination and waitlist management.
  • Work with the Marketing Manager to implement sales and generation tactics, as well as nurture agency/partner relationships.
  • Coordinate, schedule and complete the move-in cycle from beginning to end.
  • Ensure compliance with all governmental agencies.
  • Fill-in as a floating Community Manager when not assigned to an active lease-up.
