We’re looking to fill a full or part time Front Desk Agent position to assist guests with their requests and have fun doing it. Front Desk Agents responsibilities include checking in/out guests, handling their requests and taking reservations. Ultimately, you will provide excellent customer service to guests and keep the front desk and hotel operations running smoothly. Enjoy great discounts on hotel rooms and restaurants. Profile: High school graduate and basic typing skills preferred. Hospitality focus, self-confidence, optimism, detail orientation, and organizational skills sought. Bartending/F&B experience a plus.
Responsibilities:
Perform guest-related services including; Ensure guest comfort and satisfaction, Promptly and effectively deal with guest complaints and requests, Check guests in and out efficiently and in a friendly manner, Develop a thorough knowledge of hotel staff, room locations, room rates, amenities, and selling strategies, Take reservation requests efficiently, Block rooms and handle special requests, Keep lobby and desk area clean and presentable, Offer and properly handle requests guest requests, Knowledge of local area in order to give directions to guests, Monitor cleanliness of lobby, cont. breakfast area, pool area, vending room, public rest rooms, and back office area and help with anything else according to checklist.
Perform Cashiering Functions including; Open and close shift: make cash drops, Balance all credit cards, direct bills, cash, and change fund at the beginning and end of each shift and Perform duties as outlined on the shift checklist.
Perform Communication Functions including; Inform management of any guest or systems related complaints or problems, Communicate with incoming staff and executive staff by logging pertinent information in the pass on log, Keep maintenance informed of all maintenance needs, Pass on guest lost and found inquires to executive staff or executive housekeeper and Perform any other job duties as directed by Executive Staff Members.
