Fairfield by Marriott Muskegon Norton Shores is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Night Auditor / Third Shift Front Desk Agent to join our team! As a Night Auditor, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional guest service during the overnight hours, ensuring the smooth operation of the hotel, and maintaining financial accuracy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Guest Services: Greet and assist guests with check-ins and check-outs, providing a warm and welcoming experience.
- Night Audit: Perform nightly audits of all financial transactions and ensure the accuracy of daily revenue reports.
- Front Desk Operations: Manage phone calls, respond to guest inquiries, and resolve issues or concerns in a timely manner.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate logs and reports of hotel operations and ensure all records are up to date.
- Cleaning Tasks: Perform nightly cleaning duties, including mopping, vacuuming, and tidying up common areas to maintain hotel cleanliness and guest satisfaction.
- Breakfast Buffet Operations: Set up and manage the breakfast buffet, ensuring all food items are stocked, presented well, and kept at appropriate temperatures.
- Safety & Security: Monitor the hotel premises to ensure guest safety and security throughout the night.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a hotel or customer service environment preferred.
- Strong mathematical skills and attention to detail for accurate auditing.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks effectively.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and hotel management software (experience with Marriott systems a plus).
- Must be available to work third shift hours, including weekends and holidays.
