We are seeking a dedicated and friendly Breakfast Attendant to join our team. Duties
- Prepare and set up the breakfast area prior to service, ensuring all food items are fresh and presented attractively.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including tables, counters, and serving stations.
- Monitor food safety standards and adhere to proper food handling procedures at all times.
- Assist guests with their breakfast selections, providing excellent guest relations and addressing any inquiries or concerns.
- Operate cash registers and POS systems accurately for any transactions related to breakfast service.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely replenishment of food items and supplies as needed.
- Keep track of inventory levels for breakfast items and report any shortages or needs to management.
- Clean up after breakfast service, including washing dishes, utensils, and equipment used during meal preparation.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a hospitality or food service role preferred.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper food handling techniques.
- Familiarity with cash registers or POS systems; experience with OpenTable is a plus.
- Strong guest relations skills with a focus on providing outstanding customer service.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Culinary skills are beneficial; experience in meat cutting is a plus but not required.
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
- A positive attitude and willingness to collaborate with team members are essential.
