**Job Overview:**
We are seeking a reliable Maintenance Technician to join our hotel team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing maintenance and repairs on our guest rooms and commercial facilities, ensuring that all facilities are safe, well-maintained, and functioning properly.
**Responsibilities:**
- Conduct preventative maintenance and repairs on various systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems
- Perform routine inspections of facilities to identify potential issues and take corrective action
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues using logical problem-solving skills
- Operate and maintain inroom equipment, including HVAC and basic carpentry
- Collaborate with other maintenance technicians to complete complex projects
- Provide excellent customer service by responding to guests requests and addressing any concerns promptly
- Utilize Quore to track work orders and maintenance activities
- Maintain accurate records of work completed and materials used
- Participate in on-call rotations to provide after-hours emergency maintenance
- Perform painting and other cosmetic maintenance tasks as needed
**Skills:**
- Strong mechanical knowledge and experience with residential painting
- Proficiency with computer software systems
- Ability to supervise self direct and execute projects
- Experience with facilities maintenance, including HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems
- Effective communication skills and a commitment to excellent customer service
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Fluency in English
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks efficiently
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
Expected hours: 36 – 40 per week
