Maintenance Worker

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Maintenance Person to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of facilities through effective maintenance and repair tasks. This role requires a proactive individual who can handle various maintenance duties and provide excellent customer service while maintaining a safe and functional environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine facilities maintenance tasks, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general repairs.
• Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to track work orders and maintenance schedules.
• Supervise maintenance staff and coordinate activities to ensure timely completion of projects.
• Provide leadership in maintaining high standards of safety and cleanliness throughout the facility.
• Conduct residential painting and other aesthetic improvements as needed.
• Address customer service inquiries related to maintenance issues promptly and effectively.
• Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities and inventory of supplies.

Skills

• Strong knowledge of facilities maintenance practices and procedures.
• Proficiency in using CMMS for tracking maintenance tasks.
• Ability to weld and fabricate materials for repair work.
• Excellent leadership skills with experience in supervising a team.
• Strong customer service orientation with effective communication skills in English.
• Experience in residential painting techniques is a plus.
• Ability to troubleshoot issues effectively and implement solutions promptly.
