Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Room Attendant to join our hospitality team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and orderliness of guest rooms and public areas within our hotel. This role is essential in providing a welcoming atmosphere for our guests, contributing to their overall experience and satisfaction.
Duties
- Clean and sanitize guest rooms, including bathrooms, kitchens, and living areas, following established procedures and standards.
- Perform floor care tasks such as vacuuming, mopping, and polishing to maintain high cleanliness standards.
- Replace linens, towels, and amenities as required, ensuring that all items are stocked adequately.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the housekeeping management promptly.
- Ensure that all cleaning supplies are used efficiently and stored properly after use.
- Assist in maintaining cleanliness in public areas of the hotel, including lobbies, hallways, and restrooms.
- Uphold the highest standards of hospitality by providing friendly service to guests during interactions.
Requirements
- Previous experience in housekeeping or custodial roles is preferred but not mandatory.
- Knowledge of industrial cleaning techniques and equipment is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent time management skills to complete tasks efficiently within designated time frames.
- A positive attitude with strong communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members.
- Physical stamina to perform cleaning duties that may require lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
