Housekeeper
Job Description
- Reports to Head Housekeeper
- Respond promptly to requests from guests and other departments
- Fill carts with supplies and transport cart to assigned areas
- Enter guest rooms following procedures for gaining access and ensuring vacancy before entering
- Replace guest amenities and supplies in rooms
- Replace dirty linens and terry with clean items.
- Make beds, fold terry
- Clean bathroom, living areas, kitchen, if applicable
- Remove trash, empty dishwasher, if applicable
- Check all appliances are present, clean and in working order
- Straighten desk, clean telephone, furniture, appliances, remote control and light switches
- Dust, polish, remove marks from walls and furniture; vacuum carpets
- Report any maintenance problem, safety hazards, accidents or injuries
- Complete safety training and certifications; properly store flammable materials
- Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards
- Ensures quality of linens and reports discrepancies to Head Housekeeper
- Perform other reasonable job duties requested by supervisor
