Job Title: Hotel Manager

Position Overview:
Fairfield by Marriott is seeking a dedicated and dynamic Hotel Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our property, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, maintaining high operational standards, and driving profitability. The Hotel Manager will work closely with the General Manager to manage all aspects of the hotel, from staff leadership and customer service to financial performance and facility maintenance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operational Management:
- Oversee daily hotel operations, ensuring smooth and efficient service across all departments (front desk, housekeeping, food & beverage, maintenance).
- Ensure compliance with Marriott’s brand standards, policies, and procedures.
- Manage inventory and supply levels for hotel amenities, services, and operations.
- Staff Management & Leadership:
- Lead, train, and motivate hotel staff to maintain high levels of customer service.
- Conduct performance reviews and develop staff training programs to enhance team skills and productivity.
- Resolve conflicts, manage staff schedules, and maintain positive employee relations.
- Guest Experience:
- Monitor guest satisfaction and address concerns or complaints in a professional and timely manner.
- Implement initiatives to improve guest retention, satisfaction, and loyalty.
- Ensure cleanliness, comfort, and safety standards meet Fairfield by Marriott’s brand standards.
- Financial Management:
- Oversee hotel budget and expenses to ensure profitability.
- Monitor revenue generation strategies and adjust pricing and sales strategies as needed.
- Manage cost control efforts in all departments (e.g., labor, supplies, utilities) to maintain profitability.
- Marketing & Sales Support:
- Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to create strategies to increase occupancy and revenue.
- Assist with promotional activities, community events, and partnerships that align with brand values and attract guests.
- Facility Management:
- Ensure that the hotel facility is well-maintained, clean, and safe for guests and staff.
- Oversee preventive maintenance and coordinate repairs when necessary.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and industry standards.
- Reporting & Analysis:
- Prepare regular reports on hotel performance, financials, guest satisfaction, and employee productivity for the General Manager and ownership.
- Analyze data to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in hotel management or similar hospitality roles (minimum 3 years).
- Strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Excellent customer service orientation with problem-solving skills.
- Financial acumen with experience in budgeting and revenue management.
- Knowledge of hotel operations, including front desk, housekeeping, food & beverage, and maintenance.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
- Marriott brand knowledge or previous experience in a Marriott property is a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
