Position: Relief Night Audit
Location: Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Uptown Charlotte
Type: Part-Time (On-call)
Hourly Rate: up to $18 per hour
Job Summary
Fairfield Inn & Suites Uptown Charlotte is seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Relief Night Auditor to support overnight hotel operations. This role ensures accurate financial reporting, guest satisfaction, and front desk operations during the night shift. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to work independently.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform end-of-day financial audits and reconcile daily transactions.
- Process guest check-ins and check-outs, ensuring a smooth experience.
- Address guest inquiries, requests, and concerns professionally.
- Prepare and distribute daily reports for hotel management.
- Monitor hotel security and ensure guest safety during overnight hours.
- Balance and verify hotel revenue, room charges, and payments.
- Assist with basic housekeeping or maintenance requests when necessary.
- Duties, responsibilities, and work hours may be adjusted or assigned at management’s discretion to meet business demands
Qualifications & Requirements
- Previous front desk, night audit, or accounting experience preferred.
- Proficiency in PMS hotel systems (Marriott FOSSE experience is a plus).
- Strong numerical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work overnight shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Must be reliable, organized, and able to work independently.
- Must pass a background check and be authorized to work in the U.S.
