Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper/Laundry professional to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of guest rooms and laundry facilities within our hotel. Your efforts will contribute to creating a welcoming environment for our guests, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction during their stay.
Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, including dusting, vacuuming, and sanitizing surfaces.
- Launder linens, towels, and other items according to hotel standards, ensuring cleanliness and freshness.
- Handle dry cleaning services as needed, following proper procedures for garment care.
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and notify management when reordering is necessary.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel promptly.
- Ensure that all cleaning equipment is used safely and maintained in good condition.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations while performing all cleaning tasks.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in housekeeping or laundry services within a hotel setting is preferred but not required.
- Strong attention to detail with an emphasis on cleanliness and organization.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with laundering techniques and dry cleaning processes is a plus.
- Excellent time management skills to ensure tasks are completed efficiently.
- Must be able to lift and move items up to 25 pounds regularly throughout the shift.
