Job Description and Duties:
A Marriott housekeeper cleans and organizes rooms in a quick effective manner. Must demonstrate a commitment maintaining a high quality standard and attention to detail. The duties of a housekeeping attendant are as follows but not limited to:
- Responsible for maintaining a high standard of cleanliness in guest rooms and common areas of the hotel.
- Replacing room amenities and linens
- Removing trash
- Dusting and polishing furniture
- Vacuuming carpets
- Cleaning bathrooms
- Communicating with guests, fellow employees & management
- Reporting all maintenance concerns, & safety hazards
- Demonstrating the utmost in customer service
- Flexible availability to include weekends and holidays- WEEKENDS ARE A MUST!
- Must have reliable transportation
- Physical Requirements include being on your feet for extended periods of time, and the ability to lift, bend, kneel and move heavy equipment
- Takes responsibility for pass key and insures guest security.
- Responsible for achieving and exceeding the guest satisfaction score
- Must be in uniform and maintain proper personal hygiene
Housekeepers must follow company policies among other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $14.00 - $14.20 per hour
