Hours for this position is 3pm-11pm Sunday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday
Mondays and Tuesday off
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Hotel Houseperson to join our hospitality team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and overall appearance of our hotel, ensuring that guests have a comfortable and enjoyable stay. This position requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a commitment to providing exceptional service in a fast-paced environment.
Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of all public areas, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces.
- Ensure all bathrooms are cleaned and stocked with necessary supplies.
- Take out and change trash
- Light maintenance work
- Delivering items to guest rooms
- Maintain cleanliness in common areas such as lobbies, hallways, and stairwells.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
- Follow established procedures for cleaning and sanitization in accordance with health and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with housekeeping management to ensure efficient workflow and guest satisfaction.
Experience
- Previous experience in industrial cleaning or custodial services is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with hotel housekeeping management practices is a plus.
- Knowledge of floor care techniques and equipment is beneficial.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Excellent time management skills to efficiently complete tasks within designated timeframes.
