Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in housekeeping management within various settings, including hotels and hospitality environments. The Housekeeper will be responsible for performing a variety of cleaning tasks, adhering to high standards of cleanliness and hygiene, and inspecting rooms to ensure hotel and brand standards are met.
Responsibilities
- Perform daily cleaning tasks in guest rooms, common areas, and facilities to ensure a clean and safe environment.
- Conduct thorough floor care, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and carpet cleaning.
- Execute industrial cleaning tasks as needed in designated areas.
- Maintain custodial duties by ensuring restrooms and public spaces are clean and well-stocked with supplies.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel promptly.
- Follow established protocols for cleaning chemicals and equipment usage to ensure safety and efficiency.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure all areas meet cleanliness standards.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in housekeeping management or a similar role within the hotel or hospitality industry is preferred.
- Knowledge of industrial cleaning techniques and floor care practices is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with guests and staff members.
- Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
