Fairfield Inn & Suites Washington Casino Area is currently seeking a House Attendant.
This position provides porter and transportation services to hotel guests and ensures their satisfaction and comfort by promptly and courteously responding to their requests. A high level of guest service is required and excellent communication skills are a must. This position also requires the ability to lift, push and pull approximately 50-100 lbs.
Additionally, this position is responsible for, but not limited to:
Greeting and assisting guests upon their arrival by helping unload luggage from vehicle and transporting to their room, personally carrying the luggage or using a luggage cart.
Assisting the guest upon departure by transporting luggage from room to lobby, and helping the guest load luggage into their vehicle.
Responding to guest needs by promptly delivering, in person, laundry, newspapers, iron and ironing board, additional linens, etc. Maintain detailed log, recording requests and delivery.
When not shuttling guests, this position will be responsible for keeping the lobby clean as well as lobby restrooms, assisting the Housekeepers with trash and linen removal, etc.
Undertakes full responsibility for the security and safety of passengers during transport.
Abides by all traffic rules and follow safe driving practices at all times.
Has thorough knowledge of the roadways in and around the city.
Maintains logs to provide details of van transportation during shift.
Ensures that vehicle is clean and acceptable for guest transportation.
Maintains regular checks on their vehicles and report malfunctions to management as soon as possible.
Must have a valid drivers license with a clear driving history and be 21 years of age. Must be able to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays as business levels dictate.
