Responsibilities:
- Prepare and set up breakfast buffet for hotel guests
- Ensure all food items are fresh, properly displayed, and replenished as needed
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the breakfast area
- Interact with guests in a friendly and professional manner, providing excellent customer service
- Assist guests with any special dietary needs or requests
- Handle cash transactions and maintain accurate records
- Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth operations
Skills:
- Experience in meal preparation, preferably in a hospitality or restaurant setting
- Familiarity with OpenTable or similar reservation systems is a plus
- Strong guest relations skills, with the ability to provide exceptional service
- Knowledge of coffee brewing techniques and ability to make various coffee beverages
- Understanding of proper food handling procedures and safety protocols
- Excellent phone etiquette for taking reservations or assisting guests over the phone
- Hospitality mindset, with a friendly and welcoming demeanor
- Basic cooking skills to prepare simple breakfast items
- Cash handling experience is preferred but not required
