Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Breakfast Attendant to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests during breakfast hours, ensuring a welcoming and enjoyable dining experience. You will assist in food preparation, maintain cleanliness, and uphold food safety standards while interacting with guests to enhance their stay at our hotel.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and set up the breakfast area, ensuring all food items are displayed attractively and replenished as needed.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including tables, chairs, and serving stations.
- Adhere to food safety guidelines and hygiene practices during food preparation and service.
- Provide excellent guest services by greeting guests warmly and addressing any inquiries or concerns promptly.
- Assist guests with dietary needs or preferences, ensuring they have a pleasant dining experience.
- Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system for any necessary transactions related to breakfast services.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of food items and maintain a smooth workflow.
- Monitor inventory levels of breakfast supplies and report any shortages to management.
Experience
- Previous experience in food service or hospitality is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with food safety standards is a plus.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members.
- Experience in guest relations or as a dietary aide is advantageous.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
