We are currently seeking an experienced Breakfast/Lobby Attendant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience working within a hotel breakfast environment setting and experience serving guests, answering questions, providing exceptional customer service, product ordering, inventory control, cleaning, and stocking. The Lobby Attendant plays a critical role in the hotel community by providing a great start to their morning by providing a hot breakfast to get them going and a friendly attitude to set the days mood, so we are looking for an individual who is comfortable with social interaction and can respond quickly to guest requests.
Responsibilities:
- Open and close the breakfast area each day.
- Provide a clean, safe, pleasant work environment for employees and guests.
- Provide timely, friendly and courteous service to customers.
- Have basic knowledge of kitchen operations and food items.
- Responsible for the proper record keeping of freezer/fridge and food temps and all kitchen control logs.
- Have some knowledge about local attractions and tourist sites.
- Serve food to guests in a timely manner.
- Maintain a clean kitchen, breakfast area and lobby.
- Responsible for the cleanliness and sanitization of public areas on ground level including the fitness center, pool area, meeting room, patio and public restrooms.
- Responsible for cleaning and mainting the ice vending areas on each floor as well as the guest laundry facility.
Summary
As a Part Time Breakfast/Lobby Attendant at our hotel, you will utilize your kitchen experience to ensure the breakfast and lobby areas are well-maintained and welcoming for our guests. Your role will involve food preparation, cleaning, and providing excellent customer service. Your relevant skills in food service, catering, and banquet experience will be valuable in delivering a positive guest experience. With a background in delivery driving and host/hostess duties, you will contribute to the overall success of our hotel operations.
