Key Requirements:
- Successful history as a front desk agent or related hospitality experience
- Strong customer-oriented skills
- Scheduling flexibility including working any shift during the week along with weekends and holidays
- Task-driven individual
- Stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time.
- Must have intermediate keyboarding and computer skills
- All employees must maintain a neat, clean, and well-groomed appearance
- Comply with quality assurance expectations and standards
- Responsibilities:
- Greet customers immediately with a smile and sincere welcome
- Register & process guests and their assigned rooms
- Accommodate guest requests and identify and explain room features to guests
- Supply guests with directions and information regarding property amenities, services, and hours of operation, and local areas of interest
- Ensure that any outstanding requests or problems from the previous day receive priority and are resolved
- Communicate with hotel staff on the status of guest room Speak with others using clear and professional language and answer telephones using appropriate etiquette
- Follow all company policies and procedures
- Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards
- Up sell guest rooms and promote hotel services
- Handle cash payments
- Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others
- Able to preform unsupervised, as well as in a team environment
- Maintain a clean and neat front desk area
- Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors
