Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and customer-focused Guest Service Agent to join our hospitality team. As a key member of our front desk staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional guest experiences and ensuring seamless check-ins and check-outs at our hotel.
Duties:
- Welcome and greet guests upon arrival, offering assistance with luggage and directions to the guest room.
- Respond promptly and professionally to guest inquiries and concerns, resolving any issues promptly and fairly.
- Handle guest reservations, check-ins, and check-outs efficiently and accurately.
- Provide accurate and timely information on hotel services, amenities, and local attractions.
- Ensure that guest rooms are clean, tidy, and well-maintained, and address any issues promptly.
- Maintain a thorough knowledge of hotel services and policies, and communicate this information to guests as needed.
- Handle guest complaints and resolve issues in a fair and professional manner.
- Collaborate with other hotel staff members to ensure that all guests have a positive and memorable stay.
- Perform administrative tasks, such as processing guest payments and updating guest records.
- Demonstrate a commitment to customer service, striving to exceed guest expectations and maintain a high level of guest satisfaction.
Skills:
- Excellent phone etiquette and the ability to communicate effectively with guests.
- Bilingual or multilingual skills, with the ability to communicate with guests who speak different languages.
- Experience working in a resort or hotel environment.
- Strong knowledge of hotel operations and customer service principles.
- Excellent guest relations skills, with the ability to resolve guest complaints and issues promptly and professionally.
- Experience with hotel management systems and software.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks at once.
- Strong hospitality skills and a passion for providing exceptional guest experiences.
- Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 50 pounds, as needed.
