Locally Owned Marriott Hotel:
- Atmosphere is pleasant with a cooperative team
- This is a guest focused hotel with a side focus of having fun while working
- Janitors, cleaners, housekeepers, and anyone else who enjoys cleaning will do well
- Marriott has housekeeping standards that are elevated and must be kept
Expectations of the Housekeeper:
- Shift begins at 8am and goes until the rooms are cleaned: typically 8 hours
- Cleaning involves vacuuming, lifting, scrubbing, bending, pushing, pulling, etc.
- Conversing with guests and co-workers about positive things
- Keeping an eye for detail to ensure all guests check into beautifully clean rooms
- Willing to accept corrections when necessary
- Willing to work when the hotel is busy; this includes weekends and some holidays
