Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in our facilities, ensuring a welcoming environment for guests and staff. This position requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Experience in housekeeping management, hospitality, or industrial cleaning is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, restrooms, and common areas to ensure high standards of cleanliness are met.
- Manage housekeeping supplies and inventory, ensuring all necessary materials are stocked.
- Conduct floor care duties including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and polishing surfaces.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel.
- Follow established procedures for cleaning and sanitizing to maintain health and safety standards.
- Assist with laundry duties as needed, including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens.
- Provide exceptional customer service by responding promptly to guest requests or concerns.
Experience
- Previous experience in housekeeping management or a similar role within the hotel or hospitality industry is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with custodial practices and industrial cleaning techniques is an asset.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- A commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
