Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Housekeeping Supervisor to lead our housekeeping team in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and hospitality within our limited service hotel. This role is crucial in ensuring that all guest areas are clean, organized, and welcoming, contributing to an outstanding guest experience.
Responsibilities
- Clean guest rooms as needed due to busy demand
- Inspect all guest rooms and public spaces daily
- Maintain inventory of supplies, linen and terry
- Assist with laundry procedures
- Enforce SOPs to optimize efficiency
- Train housekeeping staff
- Manage daily paperwork, coordinate guest room and public space deep cleans
- Day shift only - 5 days per week - up to 40 hours per week - weekends mandatory. Wed-Sun schedule mandatory.
Experience
- Proven experience in hospitality or hotel management with a focus on housekeeping operations.
- Strong background in floor care techniques and custodial practices.
- Familiarity with industrial cleaning methods is a plus.
- Previous experience in a supervisory or management role within a housekeeping department is preferred.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with staff, guests, and management.
