Room Attendant
Position Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Room Attendant to join our hospitality team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and overall appearance of our guest rooms and common areas. This position requires a strong commitment to providing exceptional service to enhance the guest experience in our hotel.
Duties
- Clean and sanitize guest rooms, including bathrooms, and living areas, ensuring all surfaces are spotless.
- Change bed linens, towels, and other amenities as needed to ensure guest comfort.
- Restock supplies such as toiletries, linens, and other items in guest rooms and common areas.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel promptly.
- Maintain cleanliness in hallways, stairwells, and other public areas of the hotel.
- Follow established cleaning procedures and safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
- Assist with special cleaning projects or deep cleaning tasks as assigned by management.
Requirements
- Previous experience in housekeeping management or custodial services is preferred.
- Strong understanding of hospitality standards and practices within the hotel industry.
- Familiarity with industrial cleaning equipment and floor care techniques is a plus.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills to ensure high-quality cleaning standards.
- Good communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed.
