General Food Service Assistant
2025-2026 School Year
Seeking an individual to assist in the preparation and serving of the school lunch program while maintaining food service facilities in a safe and sanitary condition.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred, but not required
- Food service experience preferred
- Physical fitness and emotional stability to perform the job
- Must be able to read, write and communicate in English.
- Must successfully complete required food and kitchen safety training
- Must be able to comprehend and follow written and verbal direction
Major Responsibilities:
- Performing duties for food preparation
- Maintain sanitation standards for the food service area
- Maintain positive work habits
- Perform duties efficiently and productively
- Maintain and/or upgrade skills as necesssary
- Maintain personal qualities appropriate for designated job
