Job Description:
The Switchboard Operator maintains the internal phone system and code system, and connects to one- on- one Perfect Serve.
- Answer all incoming calls and route appropriately.
- Complete reports to support registration and pre-cert processes.
- Watch alarms.
- Call codes via overhead paging system.
- Participate in disaster drills.
- Watch cameras to maintain patient safety outside the doors of the hospital.
- Call for coverage in registration due to call-offs, codes, or due to high volume.
- Support registration in times of extreme volumes.
Job Qualifications:
- High school diploma required.
- Previous clerical and phone experience preferred.
Exerting up to 20-50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10-25 pounds of force frequently, and/or a negligible up to 10 pounds amount of force often.
