What are the responsibilities and job description for the HCV Occupancy Specialist position at Fairfield Metropolitan Housing Authority?
Responsible for a caseload of the Housing Choice Voucher program regarding their financial eligibility and HAP amounts.
Performs a variety of clerical and data entry tasks in order to re-certify client eligibility for the Housing Choice Voucher (e.g., maintains monthly list of re-certifications for completion; completes re-certifications by obtaining appropriate income and family composition verifications and determining rental amount changes).
Performs other clerical tasks in order to assist with the efficient operation of the HCV (e.g., completes interim re-determinations; receives income change information; add-on determinations, determines the necessity for repayment agreements; issues termination proposals for program non-compliance.
Receives and responds to in-person or telephone inquiries regarding the Housing Choice Voucher Program. Demonstrates regular, predictable, and punctual attendance. Meets all job safety requirements and all applicable OSHA safety standards that pertain to essential functions.
