General Summary:
The Lending Compliance Specialist ensures the bank’s lending activities comply with regulatory requirements, internal policies, and industry standards. This role involves assisting in the development, implementation, and monitoring of policies and procedures to support compliance across all lending functions, including consumer, commercial, and agricultural lending. The Lending Compliance Specialist works closely with various departments, providing guidance, conducting audits, and leading training initiatives to mitigate risk and promote a culture of compliance.
Skills and Abilities:
Strong analytical, leadership, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills are required. Strong understanding of regulatory expectations for financial institutions. Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively. Working knowledge of Windows, Microsoft Word and Excel required.
Education and Experience:
Bachelor of Science in Business, Finance, Law or other related field strongly preferred. Three years’ banking experience in lending compliance preferred.
Physical Requirements:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit, stand, and walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; see, talk, and hear. The employee is occasionally required to stoop, kneel, or crouch; lift and/or move office products and supplies up to 10 pounds.
Work Environment:
This job operates in a professional office environment. The role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, scanners, filing cabinets, and fax machines. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.

The base pay will be determined by factors including, but not limited to, experience, credentials, education, certifications, and skill level required for the position. Actual base pay offered will be determined on a case-by-case basis.
