The Components Team Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the receipt of all incoming shipments, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company standards. This role involves managing their team and assign tasks, coordinating with various departments, and maintaining accurate inventory records.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in warehouse operations, strong leadership skills, and a keen eye for detail. This position is crucial in maintaining efficient warehouse operations and ensuring the integrity of our inventory.
Schedule 1:
- Shift 1: Day Shift (8 hours) - Monday to Friday: 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM
- Shift 2: Evening Shift (8 hours) - Monday to Friday: 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM
- Shift 3: Night Shift (8 hours) - Sunday to Thursday: 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM
Schedule 2:
- Shift 1: Day Shift (8 hours) - Monday to Friday: 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM
- Shift 2: Evening Shift (8 hours) - Monday to Friday: 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM
Pay Range: DOE
Essential Duties
- Coordinate with the procurement, quality assurance and inventory teams to resolve any discrepancies or issues with incoming shipments.
- Lead and manage a team of components clerks, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure efficient operations.
- Assign daily tasks and monitor the performance of the components team, provide regular feedback and conduct performance evaluations.
- Issuance of components to work orders in accordance with planner instructions, and the return of unused components and defective components
- On the Production floor, lead a team of material handlers to deliver components at individual workstations per production team quantity and pace requirements
- Foster a positive and productive work environment, promoting teamwork and continuous improvement.
- Ensure accurate and timely recording of all received inventory in the warehouse management system.
- Maintain detailed and accurate records of all incoming shipments, including packing slips, bills of lading, and delivery receipts.
- Allocate components team members to conduct regular audits of received inventory to ensure accuracy and compliance with company standards.
Education and Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate’s or bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field preferred.
- Proven experience as a Materials Supervisor or in a similar role within a warehouse or distribution center.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory management, and receiving processes.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities, with a keen eye for detail.
- Proficient in the use of warehouse management systems and other relevant computer applications.
