What are the responsibilities and job description for the Slot Technician position at Fairgrounds - New Orleans, LA?
Responsibilities:
- Safeguard the confidential information of all department and company records and assets.
- Monitors slot activities for adherence to company policies and various gaming regulatory requirements.
- Consistently deliver positive, courteous and professional guest service in all interactions with guests, visitors, vendors and fellow employees.
- Repair and maintain machines to ensure minimal downtime and proper functioning of all slot machines and other electronic gaming devices.
- Performs preventative maintenance on slot machines on a scheduled basis.
- Maintains a clean, safe, hazard-free work environment within area of responsibility.
- Responsible for handling all install, relocation, conversion, and initial set-up and check out of slot machines.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Must consent to and successfully complete a pre-employment drug screening and background check.
- Must be 21 years or older (required by Casino and/or State regulations).
- Must be able to obtain a Louisiana Racing Commission License. (Company will provide application.)
- Must be able to obtain a Louisiana State Gaming License. (Company will provide application.)
- Must have the ability to stand for at least 8 hours at a time, and are able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds (with or without a reasonable accommodation).
