Restorative Rehab Director (Salaried)

We are seeking a motivated individual to join our team as our Restorative Rehab Director. This is a salaried (exempt) position with a base Monday to Friday schedule.

Compensation and Schedule:

• Salary Range: $53,300 - 63,500 annually
• Schedule: Salaried (placed on the on-call rotation, too)

Primary job function:

Organizes and conducts a medically prescribed rehab / restorative therapy program to help the resident reach maximum physical performance. Facilitates contact with licensed therapy company as indicated by physician order.

General Job Duties (non-exhaustive list):

• Organizing and conducting medically prescribed rehab / restorative therapy programs to help residents reach maximum physical performance.
• Facilitate contact with our licensed therapy company as indicated by physician order.
• Supervise and coordinate activities of the rehab / restorative therapy program and staff.
• Participate in Care Plan Meetings and completes G & O section of MDS.

Requisite Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs):

• Meet on-going requirements to maintain current nursing certification.
• Graduate certificate from approved nursing school.
• Successful completion of Illinois State Restorative / Rehab approved program.
• Previous rehab experience in long term nursing facility preferred.
• Basic computer knowledge including email, Microsoft Word & Excel
• Ability to communicate in a friendly manner to residents and coworkers in English.
• Ability to perform a variety of activities and to adapt to a quickly changing environment as it relates to caring for residents and Fairhaven property.
