- Proven experience in housekeeping or a similar role, preferably in a hospitality or country club setting.
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques, products, and equipment.
Education
- High school or equivalent (Preferred)
Job Knowledge, Core Competencies and Expectations
- Perform daily cleaning duties, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and polishing surfaces in all areas of the club, such as the clubhouse, locker rooms, dining areas, and recreational facilities.
- Ensure restrooms are clean, stocked with supplies, and sanitized according to established standards.
- Clean and maintain windows, mirrors, and other glass surfaces to ensure a sparkling appearance.
- Collect and dispose of trash and recyclables in designated areas.
- Assist with laundry duties, including washing, folding, and ironing linens and towels.
- Collaborate with other staff members to ensure seamless service delivery and maintain a welcoming atmosphere for members and guests.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel promptly.
- Uphold high standards of cleanliness and sanitation to meet or exceed regulatory requirements and ensure a safe and healthy environment for everyone.
Physical Demands and Work Environment
- Required to stand for long periods and walk, climb stairs, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, bend, stretch and twist or reach.
- Push, pull or lift up to 50 pounds.
- Continuous repetitive motions.
- Work in hot, humid and noisy environment.
This position has a wage range starting at $14.00 per hour and may increase after the first 30, 60, or 90 days of well-executed service.
