Locker Room Attendant
Fairlawn Country Club is currently seeking courteous and attentive Locker Room Attendants to provide exceptional service to our members and guests.
Experience
- Experience in cleaning, caring for and restoring athletic shoes and golf shoes.
Education
- High school or equivalent (Preferred)
Job Knowledge, Core Competencies and Expectations
- Welcome members and guests to the locker room area with warmth and professionalism.
- Assist members with storing personal belongings in lockers and provide instructions on locker usage.
- Performs personal services including shining shoes, brushing clothes and adjusting golf shoe spikes.
- Maintain the cleanliness and tidiness of locker rooms, including restocking supplies, emptying trash bins, and wiping down surfaces.
- Cleans and maintains sauna area and other special facilities and equipment in locker room.
- Monitor locker room facilities to ensure a safe and secure environment for members and guests.
- Provide assistance and support to members and guests, including issuing lockers, keys and towers and serving food and drinks.
- Coordinate with other staff members to fulfill special requests and ensure seamless service delivery.
- Respond promptly to member inquiries and concerns, demonstrating a commitment to exceeding expectations.
Licenses and Special Requirements
- Locker rooms are gender-specific.
Physical Demands and Work Environment
- Required to stand for long periods and walk, climb stairs, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, bend, stretch and twist or reach.
- Frequent repetitive motions.
- Continuous standing and walking.
- Able to lift, pull or push 30 pounds.
