Server - Poolside Dining
Fairlawn Country Club is currently seeking enthusiastic and customer-focused Poolside Servers to enhance the poolside dining experience for our members and guests.
Experience
- Two years of comparable wait service experience preferred.
Education
- The ability to read, write and execute basic math skills.
Job Knowledge, Core Competencies and Expectations
- Greet members and guests warmly as they arrive at the poolside area and assist them with seating arrangements.
- Take food and beverage orders promptly and accurately, ensuring adherence to menu offerings and special dietary preferences.
- Deliver orders to tables in a timely manner, balancing efficiency with attentiveness to ensure a seamless dining experience.
- Provide recommendations and descriptions of menu items, including daily specials and signature cocktails, with enthusiasm and knowledge.
- Anticipate and respond to guest needs proactively, addressing any inquiries or concerns promptly and courteously.
- Monitor poolside area for cleanliness and organization, assisting with clearing tables and resetting as needed.
- Collaborate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure timely preparation and delivery of orders, maintaining quality and presentation standards..
Licenses and Special Requirements
- ServSafe Food Handler certification required.
- First aid and CPR certification recommended
Physical Demands and Work Environment
- Required to stand for long periods and walk, climb stairs, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, bend, stretch and twist or reach.
- Push, pull or lift up to 50 pounds.
- Continuous repetitive motions.
- Work in hot, humid and noisy environment.
