Patient Services Representative

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Patient Services Representative to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional service to patients while managing various administrative tasks. This role requires strong communication skills, proficiency in medical scheduling, and a solid understanding of insurance verification processes. Experience with eClinicalWorks or Epic software is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist patients as they arrive at the facility, ensuring a welcoming environment.
• Manage medical scheduling for appointments, ensuring optimal use of resources and time.
• Conduct insurance verification to confirm patient eligibility and benefits prior to appointments.
• Handle medical collections efficiently while maintaining patient confidentiality and professionalism.
• Utilize eClinicalWorks or Epic systems for patient record management and appointment tracking.
• Provide administrative support, including managing office communications and documentation.
• Collaborate with dental office staff to ensure seamless patient service and care coordination.
• Address patient inquiries regarding services, appointments, and billing in a timely manner.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a healthcare setting is preferred, particularly in patient services or office management.
• Familiarity with medical collection processes and insurance verification is highly desirable.
• Proficiency in using electronic health record systems such as eClinicalWorks or Epic is an advantage.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact professionally with patients and staff.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $14.00 - $15.00 per hour
