Responsibilities
- Greet and assist patients as they arrive at the facility, ensuring a welcoming environment.
- Manage medical scheduling for appointments, ensuring optimal use of resources and time.
- Conduct insurance verification to confirm patient eligibility and benefits prior to appointments.
- Handle medical collections efficiently while maintaining patient confidentiality and professionalism.
- Utilize eClinicalWorks or Epic systems for patient record management and appointment tracking.
- Provide administrative support, including managing office communications and documentation.
- Collaborate with dental office staff to ensure seamless patient service and care coordination.
- Address patient inquiries regarding services, appointments, and billing in a timely manner.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a healthcare setting is preferred, particularly in patient services or office management.
- Familiarity with medical collection processes and insurance verification is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in using electronic health record systems such as eClinicalWorks or Epic is an advantage.
