Fairmont Insurance is a retail insurance agency specializing in property and casualty insurance. Formed in 1984 and headquartered in Brooklyn, New York, Fairmont Insurance is launching a satellite office in the heart of New Canaan, CT.
We are looking for a candidate to fill our open position of New Business Account Executive. An ideal candidate will have 2 years experience on the retail insurance agency side, however candidates without insurance agency experience may still be considered.
The New Business Account Executive (AE) is responsible for assisting an assigned team of insurance salespeople/producers with the quoting and placement of insurance policies. The AE helps gather the required information to quote from the prospective client, obtain quotes from our direct carriers and/or wholesale brokers, prepares and presents proposals to the prospective client, and if the client accepts coverage, the AE requests the policy be bound/issued and submits the required documentation that is requested by the company in order to process.
We are looking for candidates that are extremely organized, detail-oriented, and personable. The AE is a person that would interact with the salespeople, prospective clients, and underwriters on a daily basis, so an ideal candidate will not only have a great work ethic, but have a great personality.
