We are currently seeking a weekend Patient Care Coordinator to join our team.
The Patient Care Coordinator provides administrative and clinical supervision to all nursing staff and psychiatric technicians on assigned shift. The Patient Care Coordinator is a liaison to department directors and administration to ensure coordinated and efficient operations of services and departments on their unit. The Patient Care Coordinator promotes patient care consistent with the philosophy and objectives of Fairmount Behavioral Health System and the ANA Standards of Practice for Psychiatric Mental Health Care.

- Graduate of an accredited nursing program. MSN preferred.
- Three (3) years clinical experience with a psychiatric mental health population, previous clinical supervisory role in a psychiatric setting preferred.
- Licensure and registration by the Pennsylvania Board of Nurse Examiners as a registered nurse, American Nursing Association Psychiatric Mental Health Certificate preferred.
- Prefer knowledge of general and psychiatric nursing principles, working concepts and theory, leadership skills, age specific growth and development, limit setting, crisis and behavior management.
