Junior Sales Representative

Overview:
Fairmount Holdings, Inc. is seeking a motivated and energetic Junior Sales Representative to join our team. This entry-level sales position will work closely alongside a Senior Sales Representative to assist in generating sales. The Junior Sales Representative will gain hands-on experience, learning the full sales cycle, from client engagement to closing, while helping families through the important process of pre-planning.
Key Responsibilities:
· Assist the Senior Sales Representative in daily sales activities, including client meetings, presentations, and follow-ups.
· Develop a thorough understanding of cemetery and funeral home services, products, and pricing.
· Learn and execute sales strategies to generate leads and convert prospects into clients.
· Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with families and clients, offering compassionate guidance during preplanning.
· Attend sales meetings and participate in ongoing training to enhance product knowledge and sales skills.
· Collaborate with the Senior Sales Representative to meet or exceed sales goals and objectives.
· Conduct outreach via phone, email, and in-person visits to generate new business opportunities.
· Provide administrative support, including preparing documents, tracking leads, and maintaining client records in the CRM system.
· Assist in developing and executing marketing strategies to expand the company’s reach within the community
Requirements
Qualifications:
· High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field is a plus.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
· Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and multitask.
· Motivated to learn and grow within a sales environment.
· Ability to work well in a team and take direction from senior staff.
· Compassionate, with a desire to help families through difficult decisions.
· Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and experience with CRM systems is a plus.
· Must be able to work flexible hours, including occasional evenings and weekends.
