What are the responsibilities and job description for the Licensed Practical Nurse position at Fairmount Homes, Inc?
Essential Responsibilities
This position requires a highly organized and detail-oriented individual who can multitask effectively.
You will be responsible for receiving report from previous shift's charge nurse, giving same to subsequent shift's Charge Nurse, and notifying Resident Assistants of any unusual or additional care needed for residents assigned to them.
Additionally, you will administer medications and complete treatments per physician's orders following the Pharmacy Policy and Procedure Manual.
You will make rounds, checking all residents, and complete nursing documentation on resident's records.
Also, you will assign additional duties to Resident Assistants, assist with resident assessments, admissions, discharges, transfers, and deaths, and maintain safety and infection control standards.
Physical requirements include lifting 50 pounds, standing frequently, and sitting occasionally.
Must have the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
