Painter/Maintenance Worker - Full Time

Horus of Painter/Maintenance position:

• Full Time 40 hours/week; 6am to 2pm

Summary and Purpose of Painter/Maintenance:

This position plays a key role in maintaining the functionality and appearance of our buildings and grounds, ensuring a safe and pleasant environment for our residents and staff. Weekend sanitation responsibilities are included as part of the role.

Employment Qualifications:

Must have basic maintenance knowledge with at least one (1) year practical experience in painting, building maintenance, plumbing, electrical, or general repair work and basic knowledge of heating and air-conditioning. This person must possess a basic knowledge of equipment, plumbing, electricity, and sanitation. Must be able to read and spell. Must have a valid driver’s license. Must participate in “on-call” duties. Must support the mission and values of Fairmount Homes.

Physical and Composure Requirements:

• VISION: Requires constant overall vision including peripheral vision, color and depth perception.
• MOBILITY AND ACTIVITY LEVEL: Extensive standing, full use of both hands, frequent walking, bending, twisting, stooping, kneeling, climbing, reaching, balancing. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. frequently.
• HEARING/TALKING: Hears, talks and understands normal levels of speech.
