Job Description: Break Press Operator (Full-Time)

Position Title: Break Press Operator

Job Summary:

The Break Operator is responsible for operating and maintaining break press machines to shape, cut, or form metal or other materials according to specifications. This is a full-time position, and the ideal candidate will have experience in machine operation, a strong attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up, operate, and maintain break press machines to produce parts according to blueprints or work orders.
• Inspect materials and finished products to ensure they meet quality standards.
• Adjust machine settings to achieve precise dimensions and shapes.
• Perform routine maintenance on equipment and report any malfunctions.
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production goals.
• Document production data and maintain accurate records.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience operating break press machines or similar equipment preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Ability to lift heavy materials and stand for extended periods.
• Willingness to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Work Environment:

• Manufacturing or production facility with exposure to noise, dust, and machinery.
• Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) is required.
