Key Responsibilities
- Install and configure the Linux operating system.
- Manage and maintain Linux-based systems on the Amazon Web Services (AWS) platform.
- Conduct system maintenance tasks, including reviewing error logs, performing system backups, and monitoring performance to avert disruptions.
- Handle license deployments and setup, including establishing a Linux Satellite server and deployment manager.
- Provide technical support as needed.
- Assist in the deployment, configuration, and ongoing maintenance of key AWS services such as EC2, S3, and RDS.
- Ensure system security through monitoring and optimize overall system performance.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues that may occur.
- Be available on call during evenings and weekends to address business needs.
- Comprehensive knowledge of Linux administration.
- Proficiency in Amazon Web Services (AWS).
- Strong understanding of networking concepts.
- Capability to troubleshoot and resolve technical challenges.
- Familiarity with DDI technologies (DNS, DHCP, and IPAM).
