Key Responsibilities
- Support project teams in achieving strategic alignment and ensuring project readiness.
- Develop standard templates, reference models, and tools for collecting and presenting architectural information during project reviews and portfolio management.
- Facilitate and actively participate in collaborative workgroups.
- Lead the education and management of matrixed solution architect resources across the enterprise.
- Document and publish blueprints, design patterns, and other architectural artifacts.
- Deliver insightful presentations to stakeholders at all organizational levels.
- Ensure individual activities align with team efforts, agency IT strategies, legislative requirements, and overall strategic objectives.
- Demonstrate expertise in working with NCDIT or NC State Agencies, focusing on both on-premises and cloud architecture.
- Map data flows and visualize system architecture effectively.
- Proven experience in supporting project teams for strategic alignment and project readiness.
- Strong proficiency in developing tools and templates for architectural information.
- Excellent facilitation skills and a background in collaborative work environments.
- Adept at documenting and publishing architectural blueprints and design patterns.
- Ability to present complex information clearly to various stakeholders.
- Familiarity with NCDIT or NC State Agencies and their IT ecosystems.
- Experience in visualizing data flows and system architecture, especially with tools like Visio and PowerBI.
- US Citizenship or valid Green Card is required.
- Candidates must be currently residing in the Raleigh area.
- Demonstrable experience in integrating metadata from on-premises and cloud databases.
- Knowledge of privacy and information classification frameworks, particularly in Microsoft environments.
